Vedic philosophy is the most ancient philosophy of the world. Its principles and fundamentals has influenced various faiths. The four Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and the Atharvaveda along with the Upanishads are key sources of Vedic philosophy. The meaning of the word Veda from which the word Vedanta derived is knowledge. Vedanta is not limited to Vedas and Upanishads. Vedanta teaches that one need not even to go out of himself to know the truth. All the past and all the future are here in the present. It profess the thought of the God that is in everyone, has become everyone and everything.
